Gustavo, a former resident of Echo Park Lake, gets emotional talking about his experience with being forcibly removed from the park in March. You can see the wounds on his arm from when Park Rangers aggressively arrested him for putting up signs on the fencing at the EPL.
Gustavo is still struggling to deal with the aftermath of Echo Park Rise Up but he is using his energies to organize with other folks so this doesn't happen again.
